Everybody want to see some horror film on Halloween night. Frankly speaking, strangest things mostly scare me. I don’t like clowns or butterflies but can tolerate spiders, snakes and other scary beasts. Now when I want to made a list of top ten horror films mostly I select those films which are mainstream fright fests that send goose bumps racing up and down the spines of even the most hardened horror movie fans like me.

At Number 10

Psycho (1998)

This movie is one of the greatest thrillers in Hollywood history. It is the story of a crazy man and his crazier mother. A young girl falls victim to a knife-holding killer, then several other victims also claimed before that psycho killer brought to justice.


At Number 9

The Sixth Sense (1999)

A boy who communicates with spirits and don’t know they are dead, seeks the help of a discouraged child psychologist.


At Number 8

The Shining (1980)

A family heads to an isolated hotel for the winter where an evil and spiritual presence influences the father into violence, while his psychic son sees horrific forebodings from the past and of the future.


At Number 7

The Grudge 2 (2006)

In Tokyo, a young woman (Tamblyn) is exposed to the same mysterious curse that afflicted her sister (Gellar). The supernatural force, which fills a person with rage before spreading to its next victim, brings together a group of previously unrelated people who attempt to unlock its secret to save their lives.

Watch this movie at mid-day with the lights on, you may never ever sleep again. Trust me, it’s the most horror movie I ever saw. A little girl attacked and possessed by a demon, what happened next, you have to see yourself.
